I noticed that there is a mistranslation for the anime, Black flash is dealing damge to the power of 2.5 of the normal attack, not 2.5 times. So basically ^2.5 rather than *2.5. There is quite a big different when the number gets bigger. The author actually mentioned this before in a comment section of the manga stating the reason why he choose exponents rather than simply using multiplication is because he thinks that it sounds cooler that way (and then his assitant said if it is 1^2.5 it'll be just be 1 and that'll be smaller than using 2.5 times so he got pissed lol).
yes. and japanese voice clearly said 2.5乗(2.5 jou = ^2.5). so it's just a mistranslation.
YESSS man i remembered that comment in the manga and yes power of 2.5 is a whole different level from *2.5. Example 10*2.5 = 25 10^2.5 = 316.227766 50*2.5 = 125 50^2.5 = 17677.66953 That difference is literally like the divide between Heaven and Earth.
